What have I been up to?

1. Friday met up at "The Apartment" for my cousins birthday.  We got him very very drunk with 5 Chetreuse shots. Poor guy!  But he was soooo funny at Nandos when we had dinner. 

Headed to Lavish after that where Oanh poured a couple of bottles of water on me and then stole my top. hehehe.  She's got two items of my clothing now!!!! Aparently I'm not getting them back......hmmm...... well see.

It was sweet revenge for her after I threw her in the lake at the Grampians.

Saw Mimi and the gang at Lavish. Goos seeing her again... can't believe its been almost a month since I last caught up with her.  I guess he new BF has been soaking up most of her spare time.

2. Saturday Elaine invited me to dinner at her uncles house along with Simon and Oanh.

We had... you guessed it BBQ again. So much nice food I was bloated within 5 minutes of eating. Gotta learn to pace myself better.

Went back to Sims house in Doncaster and watched a few DVDs.

Off to the US of A on Sat for work. Should be an interesting trip. I heard its freexing over there

wow what a weekend! Here's the short version!

Ended up being perfect weather for Derby Day. I  could not think of a better way to spend a day with sun shining, big group of friends and lots of beer and champagne. Ended up meeting the group at Flinders St around 9:30 and we got to Flemington around 10 ish.managed to grab a great spot on the grass outside the main grandstand. 

This is where it gets all hazy Hot sun, too many beers and skulling fizzy champagne, I lost memory of events around 3pm. Around 5:30 I find myself on the train back to Flinders(don't know how I got there) and as my luck would have it 1 minute from the station I spew. A truly sad sad sight!!.  My friends and people in the carriage got to see what I had for lunch. After much pain and entering an alcohol induced coma woke up at midnight drove home to prepare for trip to Grampians.

Had a fantastic time rock climbing, abseiling and canoeing. Lots of photos to come.

Off to the races tommorow! Thank goodness the weather predicted early last week has not come true(this is Melbourne remember!) as it was uspposed to be 30 degrees and windy. How is a guy expected to wear a suit in that kind of heat?  Anyway the forecast is for a fine and sunny day with top temperature of 25.  Beautiful weather.  What should be even more beautiful are the lovely ladies in their stunning dresses...hehehee. I'm such a suck!

 The girls in our group are all getting "dolled" up in tradition of the Spring Carnival. I'll post up all the photos from the day. It's rare everyone gets dressed up.
